No, sorry, that is not what I'm talking about. That isn't a cover of the Monkees' "She". Those are two totally different songs. Check out the Monkees version it should be here on youtube also. I'm pretty sure that it was on the Fun Boy Three's album. Thanks for trying though.

Oh yeah, this is so much better than today. Anyway, today in order to get started in the pop business: step one is to rip on 80s music while at the sime time make cover versions to pay your rent!

Was it the Fun Boy Three that did a version of the Monkees song "She"? I loved it and haven't heard it in years. Can anyone out there post it, even if it is audio only? Please?

I heard this song back in the day..loved it. Someone then told me to watch "Porgy&Bess" to hear it in context. Enjoyed that too. Farmyard Connection and We're Having All The Fun are still my fave fb3... this is a close third.

Gershwin 1936, Which I think predates Mr S by quite a bit. His version is just one of over 13,000 recorded ones. My personal favouritess are this and George's own original

Poor guy, he always gets people complaining about how miserable he is. I read in an interview that people have been telling him to "cheer up" since he was a kid, which must be really annoying. He said he just suffers from depression.
