...and it features the guy who originally sang it, the late Charles Aznavour.I thought it was The Colourfield too...but on here it's credited to Terry Hall
  2. Kambria Says:
I was wrong too. It is here on youtube, by the Colourfield. It's great, you should check it out.
  3. Acaiseid Says:
Terry Hall is iflicted with the same kind of face as mine - unless Im grinning like an idiot I look a right misery and if Im grinning like an idiot I look like..erm..an idiot!
  4. CEYX Says:
No, sorry, that is not what I'm talking about. That isn't a cover of the Monkees' "She". Those are two totally different songs. Check out the Monkees version it should be here on youtube also. I'm pretty sure that it was on the Fun Boy Three's album. Thanks for trying though.
  5. George Says:
It was Terry Hall by himself - you can find it here on You Tube....Enjoy!!
  6. SPALDING Says:
Oh yeah, this is so much better than today. Anyway, today in order to get started in the pop business: step one is to rip on 80s music while at the sime time make cover versions to pay your rent!
  7. Mildred Says:
I think that wa his whole "James Dean" thing, but you must admit compared to todays crap its a prettu good effort.
  8. Indee Says:
Was it the Fun Boy Three that did a version of the Monkees song "She"? I loved it and haven't heard it in years. Can anyone out there post it, even if it is audio only? Please?
  9. Mariam Says:
I used to sing this song to my baby years ago. And yes, Terry Hall is a bleedin legend.
  10. Jezebel Says:
I don't think he looks miserable, he looks bored. He rolls his eyes four times during this performance! Still a great song, love that scoopneck baggy sweater! lol
  11. Yocheved Says:
i really didn't like this version as a kid. But now I can see what this is about. This is pure quality.
  12. Ngaio Says:
of all the 13000 covers of this song this one REALLY IS THE BEST

terry hall is a bleedin legend.
  14. FLEURETTE Says:
I heard this song back in the day..loved it. Someone then told me to watch "Porgy&Bess" to hear it in context. Enjoyed that too. Farmyard Connection and We're Having All The Fun are still my fave fb3... this is a close third.
  15. AWINITA Says:
Gershwin 1936, Which I think predates Mr S by quite a bit. His version is just one of over 13,000 recorded ones. My personal favouritess are this and George's own original
  16. GABI,GABRIEL Says:
These spin off's from the Specials really did this Frank Sinatra Classic real justice! Yeah I really love this number by The Fun Boy Three!
  17. Oriel Says:
Poor guy, he always gets people complaining about how miserable he is. I read in an interview that people have been telling him to "cheer up" since he was a kid, which must be really annoying. He said he just suffers from depression.
  18. Jenine Says:
I love this version of Summertime.
  19. Dottie Says:

I had to hit myself over the head just to see if i was hallucinating, it hurt...he did smile

    He smiled.
  24. Janaya Says:
Typically committed exuberant performance from Terry Hall here...
